Dasha Kalisz, “Home”

Brandon Artists Guild will host an Artist Talk with ceramicist Dasha Kalisz on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at the Guild's gallery at 7 Center Street in Brandon. A social hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by the artist's talk at 7 p.m., with time for audience Q&A.

Kalisz obtained her MFA from the Maine College of Art and Design, and holds a BA in ceramics and art history from Burlington College. Kalisz works in her Leicester home studio, where she creates functional and sculptural ceramics inspired by seasonal transformation and rural landscapes.

"My work celebrates the maker's mark, connecting my hands to yours through tactile, one-of-a-kind pieces," Kalisz said. "These are objects that nourish the spirit and honor the home by celebrating our daily routines."

The evening offers visitors the chance to hear directly from the artist about her process, influences, and the ideas behind her ceramic work.
