Received an alarm activation at the Otter Valley Union High School on Franklin Street.

Violation of Conditions of Release, Forest Dale Road
Brandon Police were contacted by Probation and Parole regarding one of their probationers who had been chronically violating his court conditions of release by not adhering to his curfew. An investigation was opened and criminal charges will be sought against the individual.
Missing Person, Neshobe River
Received a call regarding a cell phone that was recovered in the Neshobe River in Brandon that belonged to an individual who had not been heard from for several days. The investigating officer later located the male in Rochester in the National Forest and determined that the subject had previously lost his phone while kayaking in Brandon and had been camping in the Green Mountain National Forest for the past few days, which is why no one had been able to find him.

Animal Incident, Forest Dale Road
Received a call regarding a cow that was loose in the roadway on Forest Dale Road.
Animal Incident, Schoolhouse Road
Received a call regarding two dogs that were fighting on Schoolhouse Road, with the owners attempting to separate them. The matter was referred to the Town of Brandon Animal Control Officer.
Traffic Stop, Franklin Street
A motor vehicle stop was conducted at the intersection of Union Street and Center Street for making a right-hand turn on a red light where prohibited. A warning was issued to the operator for the violation.
Suspicious Vehicle, Franklin Street / Hawk View Road
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Franklin Street and Hawk View Road. Officers determined that the vehicle had broken down and that a tow truck was on the way to tow the vehicle.

Traffic Stop, Forest Dale Road / Town Farm Road
A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Forest Dale Road and Town Farm Road for failure to use a turn signal. A warning was issued to the operator.
Animal Incident, Triangle Court
Received an anonymous tip regarding an individual who had recently been charged with animal cruelty and was now allegedly in possession of a rabbit as a pet.

Suspicious Vehicle, North Birch Hill Road
Responded to the area of North Birch Hill Road for a report of a suspicious male inside a car parked in the area. The area was checked by the responding officer, but the vehicle appeared to have left.
Fingerprints, Forest Dale Road
Fingerprints completed for an internship at Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union.
Found/Lost Property, West Seminary Street
A blue iPhone with a "Dragon Ball Super Goku Ultra Instinct" phone case was found on West Seminary Street and turned into the Brandon Police as found property.
June 1
Domestic Assault-Misd., Champlain Street
Brandon Police were contacted by Porter Hospital regarding a domestic assault that had taken place between two juveniles in which a male attempted to strangle a female on Champlain Street. An investigation was opened into the matter.
Welfare Check, Wyman Road
Officers conducted a welfare check on an individual on Wyman Road. The individual was located and found to be in good health and spirits.
ATV - Incident, Barlow Avenue
Officers responded to an ATV complaint on Barlow Avenue. Officers made contact with the operator of the ATV and advised him to keep the ATV on his property and to not operate it on the public highway.
Found/Lost Property, Arnold District Road
An officer on patrol in the area of Park Street was flagged down by a passerby and given a wallet that had been located on Arnold District Road. Officers contacted the owner and returned the wallet.
Misc. Incidents, Conant Square
Assisted a woman on Conant Square who had accidentally locked her small infant in her car. The officer was able to gain entry into the vehicle using unlocking tools. The child was determined to be fine and no worse for wear for the experience.
