Suspicious Activity, Franklin Street
Received a call regarding a woman who was dressed in pajamas, running in and out of traffic, and was screaming in the area of Franklin Street. No Brandon Police units were on duty at the time, so the Vermont State Police responded to the area to investigate.

Crash - Non-Reportable, Center Street / W Seminary Street
An after-the-fact motor vehicle crash was report was made concerning a minor rear end accident that occurred at the intersection of West Seminary Street and Center Street. The crash was documented for insurance purposes.

Received a call for an alarm activation at the Green Mountain Market on Grove Street.
Trespass, Champlain Street
Responded to a trespassing incident involving two individuals on Champlain Street.

Assist - Public, Park Street
Received a request for a civil standby by a male wanting to retrieve his belongings from his ex-girlfriend’s apartment on Park Street.
Information, Mulcahy Drive
A late report was made by a resident on Mulcahy Drive, reporting that he believed that someone driving a black SUV tried to run him over the other day.
Violation of Court Order, Pearl Street
Received a complaint of a possible violation of a Relief From Abuse Order on Pearl Street. The investigation was later closed due to a lack of cooperation on the part of the complainant.
Juvenile Problem, Franklin Street
Responded to a juvenile problem at the Otter Valley Union High School in which the school reported that a student was refusing to leave the building. The student later left without any further issues once the officers arrived on scene .
Violation of Conditions of Release, North Street
Received a complaint of an individual residing on North Street who was continuing to violate his conditions of release. An investigation was opened and criminal charges will be sought against the individual.

Community Policing, Conant Square
Brandon Police participated in a community meeting at the Brandon Town Hall hosted by the Vermont Council on Rural Development. The purpose of the meeting was to create an environment where the general public in Brandon could speak in regard to forum topics that affect the Town of Brandon.
Lost/Found Property, Carver Street
A small, beige, Clucchi leather backpack like pocketbook with brown stripes was reported as lost near the Brandon dentist office on Carver Street.
911 Hangup, Deer Run Road
Received a 911 hang up call from a residence on Deer Run Road. It was later determined that there was no emergency at the home.
March 30
Motor Vehicle Complaint, Barlow Avenue
An officer responded to the area of Barlow Avenue after receiving a complaint from the Brandon Highway Department that an individual on a riding lawn mower was doing “donuts” in the roadway and damaging the gravel portion of the road.
Mental Health Issue, Center Street
Received a call from the Town of Brandon Town Clerk regarding a woman having some type of mental health crisis at the Brandon Town Clerk’s Office on Center Street. The individual later left the building without further issue upon the arrival of the responding officer.
Illegal Dumping, Tubbs Avenue
Received a call regarding illegal dumping on Tubbs Avenue.
Retail Theft, Supermarket Drive
Received a complaint from loss prevention at Hannaford Supermarket regarding an individual who had shoplifted from the store and also had an active trespass notice against him not to be on the premises.
Assist - Agency, Sunset Drive
Officers assisted the Brandon Area Rescue Squad with a medical call on Sunset Drive in which an elderly female fell and may have sustained a hip injury. The subject was later transported to the hospital for treatment.
Citizen Dispute, Union Street
Received a call from a complainant advising that he had witnessed a physical altercation the previous day between two females behind the Walgreens on Union Street.
