On Saturday, June 27, Dr. George and Carol Fjeld hosted a 70-70-50 party at the Brandon Inn, celebrating both of their 70th birthdays and their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mirth and merriment were the themes of the evening, as family and friends were in attendance to toast the old town doc and his stalwart life companion and honor the trilogy of milestones. Their adult children even got up to the mic and serenaded them with a rendition of Peter Gabriel’s song Book of Love.
