Brandon Police received an alarm activation at the Lucky 7 Dispensary on Grove Street.

Threats/Harassment, Park Street

A resident on Park Street called to report that some individuals were driving by her house, harassing her family and throwing items on their lawn.

Community Policing, Frog Hollow Road

An officer participated in a community event at the Life Bridge Christian Church Family Day event on Frog Hollow Road.

August 14

911 Hang-up, Deer Run Road

Brandon Police received a 911 hang-up call from a residence on Deer Run Road. It was later determined that 911 was dialed in error and that there was no need for an officer to respond.

Crash - Non-Reportable, Lovers Lane

Brandon Police received a late report of a minor, two-car motor vehicle crash that occurred on Lovers Lane. The incident was documented for insurance purposes.

Found/Lost Property, Forest Dale Road/Ray Forrest Road

An iPhone located during a fire call on Forest Dale Road near Ray Forrest Road was released by the Captain of the Brandon Fire Department to the Brandon Police Department and has since been returned to its owner.

August 13

Suspicious Activity, Hollow Road

A resident of Hollow Road came into the police station to report that she believed someone had shot at her house and that she heard what she believed to be glass breaking. Officers responded to the residence and checked the home, but did not find any indication that anyone had shot any bullets at the house and/or broken any windows.

Fingerprints, Forest Dale Road

Fingerprints completed for education licensure.

Disabled Vehicle, Nickerson Road/Franklin Street

An officer on patrol observed what appeared to be a disabled motor vehicle in the area of Nickerson Road and Franklin Street and stopped to check on the occupants' welfare.

Juvenile Problem, North Street/Forest Dale Road

An officer on patrol in the area of North Street and Forest Dale Road stopped two juveniles on e-bikes regarding their operation in the roadway in an unsafe manner. The officer subsequently issued a verbal warning to the juveniles.

Alarm, Tubbs Avenue

Officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm on Tubbs Avenue at Vermont Hard Cider. Officers later determined that the alarm was false.

August 12

Citizen Dispute, Champlain Street

A neighbor dispute was reported by a resident of Champlain Street regarding the complainant's neighbor allegedly causing some damage to their driveway with their vehicle.

Animal Incident, Goldspink Avenue

An officer responded to a residence on Goldspink Avenue regarding a complaint made about two dogs being left unattended for four days inside of the home. Upon further investigation by the responding officer, it was determined that the complaint was unsubstantiated and that the dogs had been cared for and not neglected.

Animal Incident, Maple Street

A complaint was made by the Town of Brandon Animal Control Officer regarding possible animal neglect that was occurring at a property on Maple Street. The matter is under review and/or investigation.

Found/Lost Property, St. Mary's Cemetery

Two camera bags were found in the bushes in the St. Mary's Cemetery on Forest Dale Road. The bags were placed into the lost/found box at the Brandon Police Department.

Traffic Stop, Forest Dale Road/Town Farm Road

A motor vehicle stop was conducted at the intersection of Forest Dale Road and Town Farm Road for a stop sign violation. The operator was issued a written warning.

Property Damage, Franklin Street

A resident of Franklin Street came into the police department to report that her boyfriend had damaged her property while at her apartment. An investigation was opened and charges will be sought against the male for unlawful mischief.

August 11

Found/Lost Property, Conant Square

A lost wallet was turned in to the police station after having been found by a postal worker in the parking lot of the post office at Conant Square. The owner of the wallet was identified, and the wallet was later returned to her.

Community Policing, Grove Street

Brandon Police conducted an orientation walkthrough and security evaluation of Brandon Community Health on Grove Street.

Alarm, Townline Drive

Officers responded to a residential burglary alarm activation on Townline Drive. While en route to the residence, the alarm company advised that it was a false alarm and that responding officers could cancel.

August 10

Alarm, Grove Street

Brandon Police received an alarm activation for the Lucky 7 Dispensary on Grove Street. The alarm was later determined to have been accidentally set off by an employee.

Trespass, Ballantine Drive

An officer took a complaint regarding a male who had allegedly threatened the complainant at his residence on Ballantine Drive. The complainant was advised as to his options regarding the matter.

Traffic Stop, Franklin Street/Brandon Motor Lodge

A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Franklin Street by the Brandon Motor Lodge for a car that had no inspection sticker. The operator was subsequently issued a warning for the violation.
