Did you know that the Brandon Library serves over 1,000 visitors every week?
· That's nearly 27 visits for every hour our doors are open — more than double the typical traffic of other libraries our size in Vermont.
· Our librarians strive to offer a dynamic range of services and programs appealing to all demographics, and it shows.
· In hosting over 2,400 individuals for programs and events each year, BFPL is hardly a sleepy little library — so take that "shhh" someplace else! (Just kidding, we still have plenty of quiet corners to get lost in a book).

New in for Fiction:
“Thank You for Remembering” by Emily Harding. When Marnie wakes up at a hospital in Boston, she has no memory of how she got there or the last year of her life. Her doctor tells her she suffered a head injury, her boyfriend, Matt, insists they broke up months ago, and her hair is somehow eight inches shorter. Before she knows it, she finds herself in an apartment she doesn’t remember with her new grumpy and attractive neighbor, Ben. As Marnie sets out to retrace the last year of her life, the last thing she needs is to start falling for Ben, but the universe has other plans.
“Promised Land” by Henry Wise. One morning, deep within southside Virginia, a pickup truck is found jammed into the mud, the driver’s door open amidst scattered bullets and bloodstains on the seat. The driver, Rainbo Boon, is nowhere to be found, but his tracks lead Deputy Sheriff Will Seems and his partner, Tania Jameson, into the swamp known as the Snakefoot.
“Ply” by Hernan Diaz. Centuries from now, an orphan grows up to become a “pincher,” someone who steals electricity from the grid to sell it on the black market. It’s a high-risk life, one that brings her into a rich art and music scene where she powers underground concerts. It also leads her to a colossal scientific invention that could change the very fabric of reality.
“Threshing Day” by Rebecca Yarros. Welcome to Threshing Day, the brutal, high-stakes trial where would-be riders at Basgiath War College fight to earn the bond of a dragon or die trying. Amid ruthless competition and dragon fire, these thirteen cadets must survive a battlefield where desperate rivals will do anything to gain an advantage and dragons decide one’s ultimate fate. Where a single choice can forge a rider … or destroy them.
“The Radiance” by Ayad Akhtar. When a hit-and-run shatters more than his body, a writer is plunged into a spiritual awakening he can’t tell from madness. In its grip, he’s drawn to a brilliant campus colleague by an uncanny pull, and into a scandal that threatens to destroy them both.
“Mazywood” Tananarive Due. When Johnny — a filmmaker and grandson of the famous Black actress Mazelle Washington — brings his family to Mazywood, the secluded California mountain lodge left behind by his grandmother, he expects a quiet retreat.
