As part of the Vermont Council on Rural Development’s community visits this past spring, a new informal committee has been formed around expanding trails, safe walking and biking routes across town.

 Many ideas came out of the discussions with leaders and resource providers. A list of priorities emerged from the last get-together, although the group meeting this week can talk about anything participants want on theme. 

There was consensus that goals do not have to be huge and costly. The conversation can start around small, inexpensive, and achievable ideas. If you are interested in the topic and would like to join the discussion, all are welcome — whether you just moved to Brandon, have lived here all your life, or live in a neighboring town.
